On Saturday September 26, 2009, at the AKC All-Breed Show in Lubbock, Texas, Ellwood received his first honor as Winner's Dog, thank you Judge Mary Webb.

The next day Ellwood was Best of Winners, thank you Judge Michele Billings. Ellwood was proudly handled by his owner, Stella Spradley.
